For simple application it is normally sufficient to use a level indication (gross weight). Depending on type of construction, the systems are legal for trade or only exactly calibrated, but not legal for trade. If there is a chance to design a legal for trade system depends on local conditions on site.

Furthermore, we differentiate between continuous and static measuring principle. Nevertheless, BITZER weighing components can be used for both types of weighing processes.

For different principles of weighing and for various container constructions, we use diverse suitable load cell sensors (e.g. bending rod, compression load cell, compact bearing etc.). Furthermore, there are different alternatives for corresponding electronics (e.g. only indication of weight, dosing systems, flow meters etc.) as well as software solutions for dosing, weighing and controlling.

According to customer’s requirement, the scope of supply differs from simple weighing kit to complex solution including all necessary weighing equipment.
Since we possess long-term experience, the customer receives proposals for solution, engineering and documentation from one source.

As an option, it is possible to connect BITZER weighing systems to external systems via additional interfaces, e.g. Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet or via input and output contacts.

Alternatives for silo weighing systems are bulk scales or belt weighers, which
are provided as complete systems.
